A CS2 case opening simulator lets you experience the thrill of unboxing Counter-Strike 2 weapon skins without spending real money. Our simulator uses Valve-confirmed drop rates and live Steam Market prices to give you the most realistic case opening experience available online. Every case, souvenir package, and sticker capsule in CS2 is available to open for free.
Our simulator covers every container type ever released in Counter-Strike 2 and CS:GO — currently 215+ containers and counting.
Weapon cases are the most popular container in CS2. Each case contains a curated collection of community-designed skins across five rarity tiers, plus an ultra-rare chance at a knife or gloves. From the classic CS:GO Weapon Case to the latest releases like the Kilowatt Case, every weapon case ever made is here to open for free. Browse all weapon cases →
Souvenir packages are dropped during CS2 Major Championship matches and contain unique skins with gold stickers from the competing teams. These packages cannot be purchased with keys — in the real game they're only available from match drops or the Steam Market. Simulate opening them here to see what you'd get. Browse all souvenir packages →
Sticker capsules contain team stickers, autograph stickers, and community stickers. Major tournament sticker capsules are especially popular because certain holographic and gold stickers can be worth hundreds of dollars. Test your luck opening sticker capsules risk-free. Browse all sticker capsules →
Beyond weapon skins and stickers, CS2 also features graffiti sprays, collectible pins, patches, and music kits. Our simulator includes these container types so you can explore the full range of CS2 collectibles. Browse all collectibles →
Our case opening simulator replicates the exact mechanics of CS2's unboxing system. When you open a case, our algorithm randomly selects a skin using the same probability distribution that Valve uses in-game. First, a rarity tier is chosen based on official drop rates. Then, a specific skin is randomly selected from that tier's pool. Wear value is generated using the skin's float range, and StatTrak status is determined by a separate 10% roll. The result: an experience identical to real case openings, with real Steam Market prices attached to every item.
The knife (or gloves) is the rarest and most valuable item you can unbox from a CS2 case. With a 0.26% drop rate, that's roughly 1 in 385 case openings. To put that in perspective:
This is exactly why a case opening simulator exists — you can experience hundreds of openings and see the real odds play out without risking your wallet.
CS2 weapon cases use a tiered rarity system with Valve-confirmed probabilities. Each tier is approximately 5x rarer than the one before it:
Additionally, any applicable skin has a 10% chance of being StatTrak™. Wear values range from Factory New (0.00–0.07) to Battle-Scarred (0.45–1.00), affecting both appearance and market value. All prices shown are pulled directly from the Steam Community Market.
How does our free simulator compare to opening real CS2 cases? Here's a breakdown:
| Feature | Real CS2 | Our Simulator |
|---|---|---|
| Cost per opening | $2.49+ (key) | Free |
| Drop rates | Valve official | Valve official |
| Skin prices | Steam Market | Steam Market (live) |
| Receive real skins | Yes | No (simulated) |
| Inventory tracking | Steam inventory | Simulated inventory |
| Financial risk | Real money | Zero |
The drop rates, skin pools, and market prices are identical. The only difference is you keep your money. Use the simulator to see how many cases you'd need to open to hit a knife, then decide if it's worth the real investment.
Opening cases in CS2 is exciting but expensive — the average case costs $2–5 to open, and most results are worth less than the key price. With our free simulator, you can test your luck across 215+ containers, track your profit and loss in your simulated inventory, and understand the true odds before spending real money. Whether you're curious about knife drop rates or just want the unboxing experience, this is the risk-free way to do it.
Our CS2 case opening simulator runs entirely in your web browser. No downloads, no installations, no sign-ups. It works on desktop, tablet, and mobile — at home, at school, or anywhere with an internet connection. Since it's a web-based simulator with no real gambling involved, it's accessible anywhere that allows standard web browsing.
The chance of unboxing a knife or gloves from any CS2 case is approximately 0.26%, or roughly 1 in 385 openings. This is a Valve-confirmed probability that applies equally to every case opening.
Yes, completely free. No real money, no sign-up, no downloads. You get unlimited case openings with the same drop rates as the real game, using live Steam Market prices.
Yes. We use the official Valve-confirmed drop rates: Mil-Spec (Blue) 79.92%, Restricted (Purple) 15.98%, Classified (Pink) 3.20%, Covert (Red) 0.64%, and Knife/Gloves (Gold) 0.26%. StatTrak has a 10% chance on applicable skins.
Our simulator includes 215+ containers — every weapon case, souvenir package, and sticker capsule ever released in CS2 and CS:GO. New cases are added as soon as Valve releases them.
All prices are pulled directly from the Steam Community Market and updated regularly. You see real market values for every skin, so your simulated profit/loss reflects actual market conditions.
StatTrak™ is a special weapon attribute in CS2 that tracks your kills. Any applicable skin has a 10% chance of dropping as StatTrak, making it significantly rarer and more valuable on the Steam Market.
Yes. Our simulator runs entirely in your browser with no downloads or installations required. It works on any device with a modern web browser — desktop, tablet, or phone.
The drop rates and skin pools are identical to the real game. The only difference is you don't spend real money and don't receive actual skins. It's a risk-free way to experience case openings and understand the true odds before spending on Steam.
